We examined the life cycle of a spider in sixth class recently and then completed individual projects on unusual spiders like the Cartwheel Spider or the Peacock Spider. It was really interesting learning about all the different characteristics of each one.

We also learned about  Celtic Gods and Godesses as part of a study on the Celts. We chose one and painted a picture to represent their different traits. We weren’t allowed to use words but had to paint objects or patterns to illustrate each God. When we were finished we had to explain our pictures in writing and guess which God everyone had chosen.
