I am so proud of my 6th class for the huge effort they have put into their work at home since we closed on March 12th. The work they have submitted to me via email and Seesaw has been nothing short of phenomenal. Over the past few weeks we have been learning about topics such as: The lifecycle of the shark and the jellyfish, cinquain poetry, procedural writing, π and the circumference and area of a circle, profit and loss percentages, interest rates, possessive apostrophes, The Titanic, parts of speech, pioneers of technology and many more. Their engagement with the work and their determination to understand what was often a brand new topic and make it their own, is truly amazing and will stand to them next year.
