This week we had Pat Broderick from the heritage in schools programme, visit us to teach us about some aspects of our culture. Pat brought a butter churn with him and the whole school got to watch butter being created from 2 litres of cream and some salt. It was hard work but we eventually got there. Some of us even tasted it!! We also learned about farming and home life a hundred years ago. It was very interesting. Have a look at the photos:
