The National Parents Council are offering a FREE TALK about “TECHNOLOGY – PREPARING CHILDREN FOR THE FUTURE”

The Parents and Teachers at Ballysax are currently researching the market for the best technology that our children can use in school going forward.  This will be funded by some of the funds which the PTA has raised over the last year.   Please see below.

INFORMATION FROM THE NATIONAL PARENTS COUNCIL

NPC East Regional Assembly Meeting will be held in the Midlands HotelPortlaoise, Co. Laois on Saturday the 16th of February 2019 from 11am to 4pm (Tea/Coffee will be available from 10.30am).

NPC would like to invite parents of primary school children to attend this meeting looking at the issue of ‘Technology in Education: Preparing Children for the Future’.

Join us to hear experts discuss Technology in Education and the impact it can have on preparing our children for the future, followed by a consultation with parents in order to inform NPC’s position when advocating on behalf of parents.

This event is free of charge and all parents of children in primary school are welcome to attend. Lunch will be provided.
