In Geography we learned all about the Hindu festival of Diwali. As part of their celebrations they leave many multi coloured lights called Diyas around their homes and we decided to make some of these light holders in art using Clay. We used a variety of techniques to make the Diyas and some of us used slip to add extra pieces to our creations.
