Book Week 2020
A variety of events will take place in St. Brigid’s N.S. Ballysax to celebrate book week – reading buddies, art competitions, Book quiz
A Character Dress Parade will take place on Wednesday 4th March. This involves the children dressing up as a character from their favourite book. It would be great if the children could bring in the particular book they have chosen on the day.
Junior and Senior Infants and First Class will visit Kildare Town Library on Thursday 5th March.
We also have a visiting author, Enda Coyle-Green for World Book Day who will provide workshops on poetry and book publishing for our 2nd to 6th classes.
A Book Fair will take place in the school this year to coincide with book week. The Book Fair will arrive on Thursday 5th March. We are looking for some parent volunteers to assist with the Book Fair.
