Write a Book

First class have been working extremely hard on their narrative writing skills for the last couple of months. This culminated in the whole class submitting an entry to the “Write a Book” competition. We are celebrating this mammoth task with a party today, which coincides with Lá Glas.

Book Week fun!!!

Second class had a great time reading to their ‘reading buddies’ from Junior and Senior Infants. They also really enjoyed the visit from author Martina O’ Reilly. 1st and 2nd class acted out different fairy tales and played lots of fun drama games.
