First week over in Rang a Sé

First full week done and dusted in sixth class. It’s great to be the oldest in the school and we have loads to look forward to this year. We’re really busy at the moment so check back in a week or two to see what we’ve been up to. Happy Friday everyone

Stepping Stones Rang a Sé

Kildare Youth services are currently delivering a 4 week programme to the students of Rang a Sé to help them make a transition to second level. Everyone is enjoying the games and the discussion lessons. Here are some photos:

Girls Football

Our senior girls team played Allen N.S. last Monday the 13th of May in Allen. It was a very exciting game, both teams were very well matched and the game ended in a draw. The girls showed fantastic team spirit and determination. Well done girls!  

Kandinsky Circle Painting in Rang a dó

2nd class have been learning about the work of Russian artist Wassily Kandinsky. They created ‘circle paintings’ using colours that they mixed themselves. We learnt about warm and cool colours, primary and secondary colours and we used tints and shades to mix our own colours.

First Holy Communion

The boys and girls in 2nd class received their First Holy Communion on Saturday the 18th of May. They worked very hard to prepare for this very special day. They all really enjoyed the ceremony and the day. Well done rang a dó! 🙂  We were very lucky to have the school choir there on […]
