3rd and 4th class have been learning about Electricity in S.E.S.E.. We learned about complete and incomplete circuits and what is needed to ensure an electrical current can travel through the circuit. The children worked in teams to create their own circuits.
Once they had mastered the basic circuit they experimented further with extra battery packs, switches and paper clips. When a circuit wasn’t complete and the bulb wouldn’t light, the children used their problem solving skills to eliminate all possible problems to resolve the issue. I was really impressed with the level of teamwork shown during our experiments. Here are some photos of us at work.
